The third release in the Arran Signature Series, a 12 year old unpeated single malt chosen and signed by distillery manager Stewart Bowman. It spent six years in first-fill and second-fill bourbon barrels, then a further six years in first-fill casks that had held red wine from Spain's Duero region, in Warehouse No. 4. Bowman vatted the selected casks, and in 2025 a worldwide total of 15,049 bottles was filled at 50%, without chill-filtering or added colour. The nose shows caramelised fruit and hazelnut with salted caramel and grapefruit peel. The palate is full and layered, with oak, dark red berries and creamy vanilla, plus ginger, sweet spice and aniseed. The finish is long and sweet, with hazelnut, ripe fig, toasted oak and a boiled-sweet sweetness.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
