Arran Local Barley 10 Years, Batch 001, is a limited-edition single malt from the Isle of Arran, bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is distilled from malted barley grown on the Currie family's Bellevue Farm on the island. The whisky matured in a balance of first-fill bourbon casks and second-fill sherry hogsheads. The nose is fresh herbs and light citrus, with medium sweetness, vanilla and aniseed. The palate is spicy, with ginger and sponge biscuit, oak and vanilla in front, and citrus notes and an oily texture adding to the fruit. The finish is medium in length and pleasantly dry, with lingering citrus, ginger and aniseed.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
