Arran – Machrie Moor 2nd Edition (70cl, 46%)

Arran Machrie Moor Second Edition is a peated single malt from the Isle of Arran, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle and matured in seasoned oak. It is named after Machrie Moor, an ancient peat bog on the island's west coast, a windswept landscape dotted with Bronze Age stone circles and standing stones. The nose brings peat and burnt orange. Pear drops and shortbread biscuits come through on the palate, with estuary notes. The finish has more peat and a refreshing Atlantic breeze.
