Arran – Machrie Moor (70cl, 46%)

Arran Machrie Moor is a peated single malt from the Isle of Arran, in a 70cl bottle. It takes its name from a windswept peat bog on the island's west coast, scattered with Bronze Age stone circles and standing stones. At one circle, Fingal's Cauldron Seat, the giant Fingal is said to have tethered his dog Bran to a stone with a carved hole. It is bottled at 46%, without chill filtration or added colouring. The island house style of freshness is kept, with a puff of smoke and earthiness added.
