The Arran Machrie Moor Peated is a smoky single malt from the Isle of Arran, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. Peat smoke is not the island's usual style, which makes this an unusual Arran.
It is dedicated to the moorland on the island's west coast, with its imposing standing stones. Legend has it that the warrior king Fingal tied his favourite hound, Bran, to one of these stones, and the dog now appears on the bottle.
