Arran – Quarter Cask 'The Bothy' Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 56.2%)

This is a cask strength Arran single malt bottled at 56.2% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky first matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels, then moved into smaller 125-litre Quarter casks, also American oak. The smaller casks bring the whisky into closer contact with the wood, which gives a faster and more intense maturation. The nose is apple tart and pineapple brioche. On the palate come Arran's familiar citrus, sweet cinnamon spice and vanilla. The finish is sweet, with honey, pineapple, vanilla and coconut.
