Arran Sauternes Cask Finish is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Isle of Arran, matured for eight years before finishing in Sauternes wine casks. The casks were hand selected by master distiller James MacTaggart, giving a sweeter style than Arran's usual single malts.
The nose has ripe orchard fruits with hints of honey, vanilla and oak. The palate is rich and velvety, with honeycomb, caramel, tropical fruits and citrus peel. The finish is long, with lingering sweetness and a touch of oak spice.
