This is an Arran single malt matured in sherry casks, bottled in a 70cl bottle at a cask strength of 55.8% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose combines orange marmalade and chocolate with Christmas spices and plenty of dried fruit, with dry oak and light roasted notes behind. On the palate a strong sherry opening brings ripe black cherries and figs, ginger and dark chocolate, topped with raisins and creamy cream caramel.
The finish carries a trace of allspice, dark pralines and a note of cold ash.
