Arran – Sherry Cask 'The Bodega'

This is an Arran single malt called 'The Bodega', part of the core Arran range. It is matured entirely in sherry casks and bottled at cask strength. The distillery describes it as rich in sweet spice and oak. The nose has chocolate raisins and mandarins with a hint of spice. The palate is chewy and warm, with ripe fig and sweet cherries. The finish is long, with pink pepper, hazelnuts and toasted oak.
