Arran – Sherry Cask 'The Bodega'

A cask strength single malt from Arran Distillery on the Isle of Arran. Sherry Cask 'The Bodega' is matured entirely in sherry casks from producers in Jerez, Spain, which the Master Distiller selects with close attention to the quality of the wood. It joins the core range and returns to the style of the earliest Arran single malts, which were mostly matured in sherry casks. It is bottled at cask strength. The nose brings chocolate, raisins and mandarin with a hint of spice. The palate is warm and chewy, with ripe fig and sweet cherries. The finish is long and powerful, with light pink pepper, hazelnuts and toasted oak.
