Arran Duero Discovery is the third release in the Arran Signature Series, a limited-edition single malt bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in red wine casks from Spain's Duero Valley, made from European oak.
The nose offers red berries, dark cherries, honey, vanilla and gentle spice. The palate brings plum, blackberry, dried fruits and caramel, with toasted oak, dark chocolate and baking spices. The finish is long and smooth, with red fruit, oak and a little sweetness.
