Arran Signature Series Edition 1 Remnant Renegade is an 18 year old single malt from the Isle of Arran, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is the first edition of a series planned to run to four releases.
The whisky matured in sherry and bourbon casks, with sherry hogshead named among them, and the release runs to 9,000 bottles.
The distillery was built on the island in 1991 and began distilling in 1995. It was opened by the Queen in 1997.
