Arran – 'The Bodega' Sherry Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 55.8%)

A cask strength single malt from the Arran distillery on the Isle of Arran, matured in sherry casks and bottled at 111.6 proof in a 70cl bottle. Arran's Master Distiller worked with producers at sherry bodegas in Jerez, Spain, to choose the casks. The bottling returns to the style of the earliest Arran single malts, most of which were matured in sherry casks. Toffee, sweet spice and fruit show on the nose. Ripe fig and cherries come through on the palate, and the finish brings dark chocolate, mandarins and more ripe figs.
