Lochranza Castle is the second series of The Explorers from Arran, a single malt bottled at 47.2% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in ex-sherry hogsheads and then finished in ex-amontillado sherry casks. It is a limited edition of 9,000 bottles.
The palate is full, with notes of salted caramel and honey, along with spicy accents.
