A single malt from the Isle of Arran distillery, finished in Port casks and bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was first released in 2010.
The whisky is rich and full bodied, a style of Arran that works well with red wine casks.
The nose offers crème caramel, berry fruits, raspberry jam, damsons, peppermint and barley. The palate is creamy, with ginger, black pepper, berry fruits and cocoa. The finish is warming, with pastries, gingernuts, redcurrant jelly and spice.
