ASW Tire Fire is a heavily peated American single malt from ASW Distillery in Atlanta, Georgia, bottled at 45.5% ABV (91 proof) in a 750ml bottle.
It is made from 100% malted barley peated to 45 ppm phenol and malted in Inverness, Scotland. The spirit is double-distilled on copper pot stills and matured in new charred American oak. It is non-chill-filtered, with no colour added.
The nose brings barbecue smoke and peat over brown sugar. The palate has smoke, toffee, caramel, cherry and vanilla ice cream with a salt-spray edge, and the finish is long and smoky with sweetness underneath.
