Fiddler Georgia Heartwood Bourbon

Fiddler Heartwood is a bourbon from ASW Distillery in Georgia. It starts from the same foraged, high-wheat mash bill as Fiddler Unison: 51% corn, 45% wheat and 4% malted barley. For the final few months of maturation, hand-harvested Georgia white oak heartwood staves, charred by hand, are placed in the barrels. The wheat brings a soft, silky texture and salted caramel, while the staves add maple, sandalwood and oak and a rounder mouthfeel. Tasting notes list caramel, maple, fresh orange and sandalwood.
