Auchentoshan – 18 Year Old

Auchentoshan 18 Year Old is a Lowland single malt matured entirely in American oak casks. The distillery has stood on the west coast of Scotland for more than 180 years, and its name is Gaelic for corner of the field. Auchentoshan is known for triple distillation, and the malted barley used in all its whisky is unpeated. The nose is described as tobacco leaf, caramel, green tea and toasted almonds. The palate has fresh fruit and malt sweetness moving into citrus peel, followed by a long, well-balanced finish.
