Auchroisk – 11 Year Old Hogshead with Ex-Manzanilla Finish #801525 (57.9%)

This is a single cask Auchroisk from Speyside, a distillery whose malt is more often found in blends. It was distilled on 19 January 2015 and first matured in a hogshead, then finished for over two years in an ex-manzanilla cask. It was bottled on 20 January 2026 at 57.9% abv, non-chill filtered and without added colouring. This is cask 801525 from the Rare Cask series, with 299 bottles released. Flavours of apple, almonds and oak-driven sweetness are noted. The label points to panettone, cinnamon bark and honeycomb.
