A 9 year old single cask Auchroisk from Speyside, distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2026 by Woodrow's of Edinburgh. It comes from a first fill PX finished American oak cask, which gave 312 bottles at 53.2% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers rich toffee, cocoa, nutmeg and cereal. The palate is rich and spiced, with treacle, dark chocolate, digestive biscuits, raisins, orange zest and a tannic, warming spice. The finish is long, drying and spice-led, with lingering dried fruits and notes of ginger, clove and nutmeg.
