This is Aultmore 15 Year Old, a single malt finished in dry Marsala wine casks and bottled at 46% ABV. It is one of three whiskies in the Marsala Wine Cask Collection, a group of whiskies aged in casks that held Marsala, a fortified Sicilian wine.
The finish took place in dry Vergine Riserva Oro casks, which bring out the delicate nature of the Aultmore spirit.
It is typically described as having notes of baked apples, cloves, tangy quince and a snap of rich, dark chocolate.
