This is an Aultmore distilled in 1992 and bottled by Adelphi at 51.6% ABV, from a single cask, number 3239.
The whisky was matured in sherry casks taken from well-known solera systems in Jerez. Alex Bruce of Adelphi never adds colour, so the shade comes from the casks alone.
Despite the strength, it is described as refined and elegant.
