The nose brings ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, light floral violet notes and delicate spice. The palate is medium-bodied, with balanced freshness, soft tannins and a savouriness that carries through to a pleasant finish. It suits cured meats, rustic starters, baked pasta, white meats, braised dishes and semi-hard cheeses. Serve at around 16-18 C in a wide-mouthed glass.
