Azuñia Añejo is a tequila made from 100% Weber Blue agave grown in the Tequila valley, bottled at 46% ABV.
The piñas are harvested by hand, roasted for 36 hours in traditional clay hornos and fermented naturally in open-air vats with wild yeast. The tequila then ages in American oak barrels for more than 12 months.
The nose carries fruit and caramel, and the finish is smooth and buttery with vanilla, chocolate and caramel.
