The Bad Na H-Achlaise is a lightly peated Highland single malt from Badachro Distillery, a family-owned distillery in the hamlet of Badachro, overlooking Badachro Bay. It is a vatting of two carefully chosen casks from a Highland distillery, finished in Tuscan red wine casks before bottling. The finish gives the whisky a slight blush in colour. It brings together peated and unpeated spirit. Badachro hand-labels its bottles, records the batch and bottle number, and marks each with the distiller's stamped initials.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
