Bagots Triple Batch Cosmopolitan is an Irish whiskey blending grain whiskey and malted barley whiskey, from the Special Wood Selection. It is matured in American and European oak, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, and is non-chill filtered.
The nose is intense, with ripe fruit, hyacinth and daffodil, candied citrus, malt, tobacco, saffron and a touch of beeswax.
The palate is smooth and silky with a full body, showing plum, pear, cocoa, almond, cashew, fresh mint and a hint of incense. The finish is long and dry, with mango, delicate flowers and toasted nuts.
