The Teeling family has made whiskey for generations. Walter Teeling opened the family's first distillery in 1782 on Marrowbone Lane, in the Liberties of Dublin. That site no longer exists, but in February 2015 the family opened a craft distillery in the Liberties, returning whiskey making to the city.
