Balblair was founded in 1790 and sits near the Dornoch Firth. This bottling is picked to show the distillery's citrus-led character at an age before heavy oak influence builds.
The nose is zesty, with fresh citrus, apple peel, vanilla cream, soft malt and a little floral honey. The palate is clean and fruity, with lemon tart, orchard fruit, malted biscuit and light spice. The finish is medium to long, with citrus, vanilla and malt.
