Balblair 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the Balblair distillery in Edderton, which was founded by John Ross. It was matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks and double-fired American oak casks, and is bottled at 46% in a 1 litre bottle. It is of natural colour and non-chill filtered.
The nose is lemon peel, vanilla and green apple. The palate has ground spices, dried orange and honey, leading to a creamy finish with sweet vanilla.
