Balblair – 15 Years

Balblair 15 Years is a Highland single malt from the distillery on the Dornoch Firth. It was part of the core range relaunch in early 2019, when Balblair moved from vintages to age statements. The whisky is first matured in ex-bourbon casks and then moved to first-fill Spanish oak casks. Its colour is amber. The nose brings honey-coated apple, citrus freshness, coffee and walnut cake. On the palate there is dried fruit, more apple, dark chocolate shavings and ginger. The finish carries Curacao orange, dried oak and caramelised dates.
