Balblair – 21 Year Old (70cl)

Balblair 21 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the distillery at Edderton, bottled in a 70cl bottle at natural colour and without chill filtration. The whisky spends its first 15 years in ex-bourbon and double-first-fill American oak casks, then a further six years in hand-selected butts that once held Oloroso sherry. The nose is ripe pineapple and apricot, with vanilla warmed by cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate offers orchard fruits, cinnamon and rich sherry depth, and the finish brings dark chocolate and ripe tropical fruit with a lasting vanilla warmth.
