Balcones High Plains is a Texas single malt whisky at 57% abv, in a 750ml bottle. It is made entirely from barley that was grown and malted in Texas, which the distillery presents as a tribute to the state and the people who grow, malt and distil there.
The body is creamy, with a sticky, coating entry of stone fruit, honey and beeswax, fresh sourdough and rich caramelised sugars, finishing with subtle oak notes.
