A 10-year-old blended Scotch whisky from Ballantine's, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. This is the American Barrel expression.
It is a warm gold in the glass. The nose is fresh and fruity, with juicy red apple, blackcurrant and lemon zest, alongside sweet vanilla, toffee and a hint of nuts. The palate is sweet and creamy, with homemade apple pie and vanilla custard woven together with lemon curd, caramel and toffee.
The finish is sweet, smooth and rounded.
