Ballantine's 12 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. It combines malt and grain whiskies, all aged for twelve years or more.
The blend is creamy, with a honey sweetness. The nose offers honey, oak and vanilla. On the palate it is balanced, with honey and oak again, and a fresh note with a touch of salt.
