Ballantine's 12 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. It combines malt and grain whiskies, all aged for twelve years or more and fully oak matured.
The blend is creamy, with a honey-like sweetness. Honey, oak and vanilla come through on the nose, while the palate is creamy and floral, with honey and oak again. It is fresh, with a touch of salt.
