Ballantine's 30 Year Old (70cl, 40%)

Ballantine's 30 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. Every malt and grain whisky in the blend is at least 30 years old, and some are older. Glenburgie and Miltonduff are among the distilleries that supply them. The whisky is matured in European oak casks and has a deep golden colour. It is blended under master blender Sandy Hyslop. The nose has aged oak and dried fruit, with malt and a faint touch of spice. The palate is smooth, with soft wood and understated sweetness. The finish is long and clean, with oak and a hint of spice.
