Ballantine's Finest is a blended Scotch whisky, here in a special edition made for the Queen, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV.
It is a blend of selected malt and grain whiskies, all aged for at least three years in oak, with a good part of the blend aged for longer. The colour is a light gold.
The nose is soft and elegant, with heather honey and a touch of spice. The palate is balanced, with gentle sweetness of milk chocolate, red apple and vanilla, and the finish is fresh and floral.
