It was matured in ex-Bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks, which pair sweet, ripe fruit with a steady thread of peat smoke.
Tasting notes describe a nose of sweet smoke and ripe fruit. On the palate come sweet smoke and caramel, ripe fruit and more peat smoke. The finish is medium in length and lightly sweet, with plenty of peat smoke.
