This is a single malt from Edradour, a Bordeaux expression from the 1999 vintage, bottled for the distillery's 200th anniversary. It is bottled at 55.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Edradour stands a few miles west of Pitlochry, near Moulin, in the Highlands. It is thought to have been founded in 1825 and is the only Scottish distillery still run in the style of a farmhouse operation. For a long time it was also the smallest in Scotland, with two stills producing just 15 casks a week.
