Edradour – 12 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 8 (70cl, 58%)

This is a 12 year old Edradour single malt, bottled at cask strength of 58% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It comes from batch 8. Edradour is in the Highlands, a few miles west of Pitlochry near Moulin. It is thought to have been founded in 1825 and is the only Scottish distillery still run in the style of a farmhouse operation. Two stills once made just 15 casks a week, which for a long time made it the smallest distillery in Scotland. A larger operation began in February 2018, with capacity of around 500,000 litres of pure alcohol a year.
