Ballechin 10 Year Old is a peated Highland single malt from Edradour, in a 70cl bottle at 46%. Ballechin is Edradour's heavily peated line, with peating at around 50 ppm, and takes its name from a nearby distillery that is now silent.
The whisky spent ten years in bourbon barrels and was then finished in sherry casks. Ballechin was a Perthshire farm distillery that ran between 1810 and 1927.
