Ballechin 18 Year Old Batch 1 Cask Strength Edition (70cl, 50.9%)

This is the first batch of Ballechin 18 Year Old in the Cask Strength Edition, a Highland single malt bottled at 50.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a small-batch original bottling, distilled in 2004 and bottled in 2023. The whisky matured in first and second fill ex-Bourbon casks. At 18 years old the sharp edges have gone, but it keeps the smokiness that marks the Ballechin style.
