A modern yet restrained red wine under the IGT Alpi Retiche designation. It shows an intense ruby colour, with ripe red fruit and discreet spicy notes on the nose. The palate is balanced, with calibrated tannins supporting the structure and acidity keeping it drinkable. The finish is of medium length, pleasant and direct.
It pairs easily with everyday dishes such as light white and red meats, mildly cured salumi, ragù pasta and semi-hard cheeses. Serve around 16-18°C; brief decanting may help the aromas open.
