Balvenie Caribbean Cask is a 14 year old unpeated Speyside single malt, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in oak casks, including bourbon, and then finished in casks that previously held Caribbean rum.
The finish adds toffee and a hint of fruit to the honeyed character of Balvenie.
The nose is sweet and creamy, with toffee and fresh fruit. The palate is rounded, with vanilla and sweet oak, and a fruity character that develops with time. The finish is soft and lingering.
