This is a 25 year old single malt from Balvenie in Speyside, released in the Rare Marriages series and bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle.
David C. Stewart MBE, the distillery's former malt master, combined casks that had matured in American and European oak. The whisky was then married in a tun.
Its character is described as bold vanilla oak, crystallised ginger and sweet runny honey.
