A 30 year old Balvenie from the distillery, created by Malt Master David Stewart from whiskies matured for at least three decades in American oak and European sherry casks. It is bottled at 47.3% in a 70cl bottle. This label design first appeared in 2014, replacing the distillery's earlier 30 year old bottling.
It is typically described as rich honey, soft vanilla, dried fruits and polished oak, with dark chocolate, baking spices and gentle citrus, carried by a silky texture.
