Balvenie Caribbean Cask is a 14 year old Speyside single malt, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle and supplied in a tube.
After 14 years of maturation, the whisky is finished in rum casks. These casks were previously filled with a rum blend put together by Balvenie Malt Master David C. Stewart. Once he judged the casks ready, they were emptied and refilled with Balvenie whisky for a further period of ageing.
The result keeps the soft house character of the distillery, with touches of fruit, toffee and light spice.
