Balvenie Peat Week is a 14 year old Speyside single malt, bottled at 48.3% in a 70cl bottle and non-chill-filtered. It is matured in oak casks.
The distillery dries its barley over peat for just one week each year, using peat alone, and that week gives the whisky its name.
The nose is fruity, with sweet and tart notes alongside peat and honey. On the palate come citrus, vanilla and honey with very light peat smoke. The finish is long and soft, with smooth Speyside character and gentle peat.
