The Sweet Toast of American Oak is a 2019 Balvenie single malt from the Stories series. It uses virgin American oak casks that Kelvin Cooperage in Kentucky toasted extra hard, which brings sweet vanilla, caramel and tropical fruit.
The nose offers vanilla fudge, honey and coconut. On the palate there are rich toffee, fresh citrus, creamy malt and tropical fruit, and the finish is warm, sweet and slightly spicy.
