A Barbera d'Alba DOC 2025 from Fratelli Borgogno, immediate and characterful. It has a bright ruby colour, with aromas of ripe red and black fruits, cherry and plum, floral hints and subtle spice. The palate shows lively acidity, a sapid texture and medium body, with clean, well-polished tannins and good persistence. Serve around 16-18 C, opening a few minutes beforehand. It suits cured meats, grilled meats, medium-aged cheeses and flavourful first courses.
